DIBU dot is an accumulation of illustrations, doodles and various projects made by Diana Butucariu.
Diana Butucariu, from Bucharest currently living in Stockholm, artist in general, illustrator and ceramicist in particular. She makes everything visual in the Small House universe, including album covers and posters.

Statement
​
In my artistic practice I work with sculptural objects and illustrations where different techniques are brought together. A mixture of textures, materials and techniques
activates the senses and accentuates the fine line between a present act and a forgotten
movement. The dramatic character of my artworks draws the viewer into a dialogue
about social differences and identities, cultural collapses and traditional remains.
I mitt konstnärliga utövande arbetar jag med skulpturala objekt och illustrationer där olika
tekniker förs samman. En blandning av texturer, material och tekniker
aktiverar sinnena och accentuerar den fina gränsen mellan en nutida handling och en
glömd rörelse. Den dramatiska karaktären i mina verk bjuder in betraktaren till en dialog om sociala identiteter, kulturella kollapser och traditionella lämningar.
